Flower Planting Time

Hi Flower Friends!
Each year we do our best to get out of the grey and into the sun. This year we made it to Hawaii. We were blessed with so much sun, no sunburns, and lots of sand everywhere. Such a wonderful time to just enjoy each other without our list of chores ever present. This is one of the whys for our farm, to spend more time together, in the sun, soil, doing things we love. So thank you for making that happen!
I was dreading coming home to the cold and grey, but guess what? as you all know its been sunny the last few days here at home! and I have had seed starting to look forward to! I lOVE starting seeds, getting my hands dirty in the soil and then watching the sprouts show and then grow.
Because we overwintered more this year, and bought some plugs from Farmer Baileys and from my amazing friend Barb, seed starting didn’t have to start until this week. I will be planting some more cold hardy annuals this week (sticking to my seed starting schedule and not planting anything early…this is hard for me:)) If you want longer stems on your snapdragons start them soon so they will be ready to plant out while it is still cold! I will also be trailing forcing tulips inside, I’ll let you know how that goes!
